“Do something today that your future self will thank you for.”
In the months following the birth of her child, Hannah not only found it difficult to lose the weight she’d gained during pregnancy, she found herself putting on a few additional pounds.
But nothing makes you think about the future like the birth of a baby. And so she focused on becoming her “future self,” a healthy mother who could be her best for her family and herself — and who could fit into the beautiful dresses in her closet.
“I decided to start cutting out carbohydrates and sugar. I got rid of sodas and pasta. I also made sure that I tracked my weight every week. I spent time doing yoga one hour a day. I also surrounded myself with people who eat healthy and who are involved in physical exercises. In that way I was really more motivated to work hard.”
When customers falter in pursuing their weight-loss goals, Hannah understands how hard it is to stay on track. “But if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you,” she reminds them. “So do something today that your future self will thank you for.”
